If there is an aspect of your life that you try desperately to control, you need to let Him have control and let Him bless you! He knows better than we do!

Like Moses, many of us fight against the call to lead fearing the intimidating thought that people won’t listen or follow. We must remember that no one is perfect in their obedience but that even our small steps are valuable. God has given us everything that we need, and He will take us, along with our weaknesses, to accomplish something great! So take a step toward Him!

Knowing that your relationship with your spouse is potentially the most important earthly relationship that you will have, we must guard against resentments as they assist the enemy in entering your world. We should be quick to forgive and see people as God sees them!

In week three of Stay Married, Pastor Patrick shares some practical ways to find the one-ness that God intended for marriage. In a biblical marriage, there should be a mutual dependency that only God understands as He has connected our lives through communication. So when conflict undoubtedly occurs, we should use patience and kindness when communicating with our spouse, take responsibility for our actions, and BE SELFLESS. Trust that God uses marriage to grow closer to Him, and NEVER GIVE UP!

During the first week of Stay Married, Pastor Patrick addresses the fact that our covenant with our spouse in marriage actually reflects our covenant with Jesus. The devil is the father of lies, and because he knows that marriage mirrors God's purpose on this earth, divorce can be exceptionally devastating. The righteousness of His grace actually demands more obedience of the heart than the law does so we must stay true to marriage and honor our covenant with God!

In the final week of Winning at the Game of Life, Pastor Patrick explains how we can live a regret-free life. Many of us have lived with regrets that haunt us and make us feel worthless, but if we continue to think that our sin is greater than God's grace, it will impact our futures negatively. Forget the past and look forward to what God has laid out for us- the ultimate prize of a crown of righteousness! Surrender your life to Jesus, and remember that His mercies are new every morning!

In week four of Winning at the Game of Life, Tim Simmons addresses the risks that we take in life and how there is great risk in following Jesus. God purposed each of us to live in THIS moment, and we do not need to completely understand His plan for us in order to have faith in it. The enemy will make sure that we lose if we do not play to win so we must be obedient and surrender to God's will. We take risks because we love, and it's YOUR turn to step out and risk it all for Jesus!
