2. Why do you believe Paul is so concerned about these scam artists and deceivers on Crete? What is the damage to the gospel?

3. Who do you know that lives a life that is compelling? What is compelling about them?

4. Who is the most encouraging person you know? Share why you chose them. Would people describe you as more in terms of encouraging, or discouraging? Why do you think this is the case?

5. The early church in Crete was tempted to either fight a culture war or assimilate to the culture. Which of these two sides do you tend towards and why? What is the third way of the gospel?
