Gender Identity is complex because we’re often not sure where the line is between God-given gender and cultural stereotypes. And right now, it's a part of our national conversation in regard to ethics, morality and sexuality. It can be easy to make generalizations, but the truth is, every story is unique. And the stories aren’t just stories. Every story belongs to a person. And Jesus came to save people -- all people -- including transgender people. And our mission is to invite and equip people to follow Jesus. That is the heartbeat of why we do what we do, and it colors the way we approach everything and everyone. Because we believe Jesus changes everything.
