The film presents highlights of a workshop session from the Sixth annual Human Aspects of Information Security and Assurance symposium (HAISA 2012), which took place in Hersonissos, Crete from 6-8 June 2012.

The session focused upon the need to build appropriate security skills and awareness, with panelists from the United States Military Academy, George Washington University and Plymouth University, alongside various inputs from the audience members.

Richard Green describes and demonstrates the system that he created as part of his final year project for the BSc (Hons) Computer and Information Security course at Plymouth University. The project relates to keystroke analysis, a behavioural biometric based upon the user's typing rhythms. Jeremy Newman describes how his company, New Model Identity, aims to defeat identity fraud by harnessing the natural ability of people to recognise their family and friends using digital media, webcams, mobiles and social collaboration.
