The Safest Place for My Soul: Returning to Prayer
Description
I’ve been overwhelmed by life, in the hard ways and in the beautiful ones. And after years of questioning, deconstructing, testing, and reimagining what I believe, I find myself returning to something I thought I had already moved beyond: prayer.
In this episode, I’m reflecting on prayer as shelter, relationship, and a way of returning. Not a formula or another “how to,” but an active conversation with the Holy One, with Shekinah, with the path, and with whatever we understand as sacred.
As we move through Elul toward Rosh Hashanah, I’m asking what it might mean to follow the spark that brings us home, to let our practices emerge from relationship rather than obligation, and to find our way back under the wings of Shekinah.
