The conversation on X between Trump and Elon Musk was plagued with technical issues from the start. Some are wondering if it was technical trouble that made Donald Trump sound slow and like he may have had a lisp or was slurring his words. Maybe it’s because he’s now pitted against Vice President Kamala Harris who is 20 years younger, but over the last couple of months with rambling speeches at rallies and strange speech patterns, Trump finds himself the candidate struggling with age related issues.
We’ll check in with Pulitzer Prize winning author and investigative reporter David Cay Johnston to get his thoughts.
