The latest MCAS scores were released this week and show “concerning” results of decline in all major categories amongst all age groups in Massachusetts' public schools. Roughly, 16,000 10th graders failed at least one portion of the 2024 MCAS exam. This comes at a time right before voters’ head to the polls this November to vote on Question 2, whether a passing MCAS score should be a graduation requirement.
