At Seismic Dance Event, I was able to sit down with Sam Wolfe, an artist and producer from Atlanta, for a candid discussion about his steady rise up the techno charts and how his music has been influenced by hard work, good karma, and being at the right place, right time. Sam’s personality lends to big beats with big releases that are infectious when he’s playing and can be easily seen and felt on the dance floor.
We talk about his manifestation mindset and being grateful to play all over the world, his growth from show to show, and one of the most entertaining rapid fire question rounds I’ve ever done.

On today’s show, I have Anthony Cardinale aka Avision, a techno and house producer & DJ from New York, who grew up in the club culture with an early start on the turntables at the age of 12. Avision has been one of my favorite artists for years and he’s known for his big beats and high energy tracks. He’s had releases with some of the biggest names in the industry: Carl Cox, Maceo Plex, Victor Calderone and Coyu to name a few.
We talk about his supportive family and producing music from his home studio, playing to 3,000 kids on teen nights at the age of 15 while hustling on the streets of NYC with his crew to promote his shows. Avision’s humble nature, unmatched work ethic, and commitment to his NYC roots has made him one of the most respected artists in the industry.

On today’s show, I have music duo, Hello Yes, consisting of guitarist Mitch Bell and saxophonist Aaron Leibowitz, birthed during off time on the road with electronic artist Zhu, who they continue to perform and collaborate with. With a new EP out titled, “Lost Signal”, they are constantly evolving and fine tuning their sound, taking influences from tour life and playing all over the world on festival and concert stages alike.
We talked about my awkward first meeting back on Zhu’s tour bus with Mitch and Ronny in 2018, uncommon fan gifts received on tour, the evolution of their “Hello Yes” sound and when they know a song is finished. They also discuss their first performance at “Lightning in a Bottle” this year with Ronny recapping his first festival experience there 10 years ago, and headlining the main stage with Zhu the previous year. Get to know “Hello Yes” and make sure to follow them for tour announcements and new song releases!

On today’s “Concert Queen Connect”, we have Dave Navarro , best known as a member of rock band, “Jane’s Addiction” and mental health activist, speaking about his “Duel Diagnosis” immersive art exhibition on display at West Chelsea Contemporary till April 17th. This collaboration with Los Angeles-based street artist, PADHiA, is created through the mental health awareness lense, and brings an artistic expression to the often stigmatized mental health arena.
Dave and I talked about each of the themes within the Dual Diagnosis exhibit, his creative process and artistic connection with PADHiA @unfukyourself , and how many of the specific pieces came to fruition (I already want to go back to look at “The Nervous System” art - fascinating)
Thank you to Dave Navarro and his co-creator, PADHiA @unfukyourself for creating a mental health movement through their art and make sure to read the placards accompanying the art! Make sure to give them all a follow and support their “Duel Diagnosis” movement.
Check out the “Dual Diagnosis” art exhibit with Al Diaz, at the West Chelsea Contemporary located at 1009 W 6th St #120, Austin, TX 78703 from now until April 17th!! *Open to the public!

On today’s show, learn how Shawn Ullman worked with Dolly Parton’s team to partner with Blockchain Creative Labs, and bring Dolly Parton to her first-ever appearance at SXSW and launch “Dollyverse”, her own NFT collection of her “Run, Rose, Run” album, and a limited series of Dolly-inspired NFT artwork.
“What is an NFT album and why should Artists do one?” “How is Dolly Parton performing ON the Blockchain?” “I don’t want to harm the environment with this new technology!!!” You spoke… I listened and I’m excited to share this SXSW edition of “Concert Queen Connect” with Shawn Ullman of Blockchain Creative Labs, who is the inaugural Blockchain sponsor of SXSW, to really zero in on how this will change the future of the music and entertainment industry.
Please remember: We are in the FIRST inning of this so if you aren’t familiar or feeling like you’re left behind, you’re not. This is similar to the internet movement in 1990’s where many people didn’t understand it but I HIGHLY suggest you watch this to the end to educate yourself as an Artist, Producer, Creative and Concert & Festival goer.
Blockchain Creative Labs is located at Trinity Hall, on 5th & Trinity, and is open to the public till Sunday, March 13th, and then Dolly Parton will be at ACL Live speaking about the project and then a live performance immediately after on Friday, March 18th.
Enjoy this special SXSW episode of ‘Concert Queen Connec’t!

On today’s show, I have the man, the myth, the legend, Josh Donaldson, founder of “When The Music Stops” and former tour manager of the World’s Biggest DJ, and at one point, “Las Vegas’s hand to shake” in the scene. Josh has toured the world, opened some of the biggest Vegas hotels in nightlife, and was the first person to book artists like Drake in Vegas in a prior life. However, what seemed like the most glamorous life filled with money, success, and beautiful women, was filled with moments that contributed to Josh’s depression and even suicidal thoughts.
After his attempt to end his life, he sought treatment and help to overcome his demons and depression, as well as becoming the face and founder of “When The Music Stops”, a suicide prevention community and non-profit organization aimed at supporting mental health, emotional health, and suicide prevention through music, connection and love.
It is a heavier show than normal and I challenge you to hear Josh’s story in entirety and the ways that he has chosen to help himself and others become their best selves. I know you can probably relate to many things within in this show and if you’re able to contribute to this incredible organization in any way, Josh & “When The Music Stops” would greatly appreciate your support!!
If you could please rate, review and share this episode with others, I would be so grateful And to talk about this or anything on the podcast, find me on instagram at @atxconcertqueen or shoot me an email at [email protected].
Now without further ado, enjoy this show with Josh Donaldson!

On today's show, I talk about two pressing things that have been weighing on my heart. It's not a comfortable thing to talk about but as we continue to go out and attend events, concerts and festivals, it must be known that the behaviors of some individuals is completely uncalled for. Most recently, I've had 2 friends get drugged in the last month, and I myself have been drugged 3 x's since living in Austin. This is happening everywhere and it needs to stop.
I talk about these specific situations in detail, and how we need to normalize these conversations so others can look out for each other and know that they're not alone.
