Conditioned for The Climb | Pastor Ryan Williams

Listen Later

Spiritual growth doesn’t happen by accident. In this message, discover why discipline, training, and preparation are essential before the climb God has planned for you.

In this opening message of the Base Camp series, we explore the difference between comfort and conditioning in our faith. Many of us prefer a faith that fits neatly into our schedule—comfortable, familiar, and manageable. But God doesn’t prepare us for spiritual ascent through comfort; He prepares us through intentional training.

Using the picture of Base Camp before a mountain climb, this message reminds us that endurance doesn’t happen by accident. Before God takes us higher, He often calls us deeper—into discipline, focus, and spiritual conditioning. Training isn’t about shame or punishment; it’s about readiness. What we don’t condition for, we won’t endure.

As we step into a season of fasting and consecration, God invites us to stop coasting and start training—so when pressure, opportunity, and calling come, we’re prepared to endure the climb.
