For twelve years a woman bled, unclean and cut off from worship, touch, and community, until she pressed through the crowd believing that even the hem of Jesus' garment could make her whole. In the garden the man and woman were naked and unashamed, but after they reached for what God had forbidden, their first instinct was to hide, cover up, and pass the blame. Opening this series on shame, Pastor Cameron traces in Genesis 3 where our shame began and, in a moving final picture, shows how God himself clothed Adam and Eve, foreshadowing the lengths he would go to cover us. A tender invitation to stop hiding and trust the God who covers our shame.
