Why would we get excited and be eager? Because No Ordinary Steward understands that giving the BEST of what they have has the potential to create the BEST someone else can have.

Comparative generosity makes you feel like your gift is not as good OR a lot better than the person next to you.

No Ordinary Sacrifice

Jesus has chosen you to be a part of this No Ordinary Family of God, because he knew you would be a blessing, even through the brokenness.

The WIN is going from Broken to Blessed.

Jesus has chosen you to be a part of this No Ordinary Family of God.

Jesus has chosen you.

The Family of God is marked, not just by scooting over to make a space for “them”, but sacrificing your Life (time, talents, treasures) to go find them and bring them home. This can only marked by GREAT SACRIFICE.

God wants you in His family!

When you come into God's family, your past is no more than a memory that is part of your story....it no longer defines your future because your future has been re-routed to His purpose for you.

-Genesis 3:1-19

- For the Serpent: an eternal curse, condemnation to the ground, and enmity between Him and “woman.” It says, in Genesis 3:15 “I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.”

- For the woman: pain in childbearing & the introduction of a gender hierarchy for the first time, in which she will be subject to man

- For the man: Difficult work to get the earth to render sufficient resources

- Genesis 3:15 (Amplified Bible Translation):

“I will put enmity (open hostility)

Between you and the woman,

And between your seed (offspring) and her Seed;

He shall [fatally] bruise your head,

And you shall [only] bruise His heel.”

- “The Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you.” - Romans 8:11

-We “get to crush the serpent under our head” together by living lives of mutuality and peacemaking under the New Covenant. THIS IS GOOD NEWS NOT JUST FOR YOU- BUT FOR THE WHOLE CHURCH AND THE WHOLE WORLD. IT IS GOOD NEWS FOR EVERY, MAN, WOMAN AND CHILD.

- If you want to be a person of good news, it starts first in your family.
