Are you willing to live full-out for Jesus? 

In this session, Jonathan explains that God is looking for “A Few Good Men” and women who will step it up to a whole new level of commitment to the King and the Kingdom. The people through whom God wants to change history are able men and women who fear God and steward wealth well (Exodus 18:21). Jonathan makes a call for men and women who are willing to give themselves to be one of the “few” who choose to die to selfish ambitions and live full-out for Jesus.

What are the roots and fruits in our lives? 

In this session, Angela preaches about the work of God in our hearts, and how He is sufficiently able to do within us what no man can do. By telling stories from her own life, she explains how we can (attempt to) draw from sources other than Jesus, who is the only real-life source. She explains roots and fruits, and the need to repent of ungodly roots which give rise to ungodly fruit. Jesus has a way for the tendencies of our hearts, and therefore we must turn to Him. Turning to God means asking Him what He is bringing to the surface now, renouncing our disgraceful ways (2 Corinthians 4:2), and looking upward to Him to save us (Isaiah 63:9).

Are we walking in purity? 

In this session, Euan preaches on the need for purity in the Bride of Christ. He urges believers to examine their hearts daily (Jeremiah 17:9), to straighten out anything that has been bent out of shape (Ephesians 4:30), and to synchronise daily activities with the desires of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:13).

What are the differences between grace and favour? 

In this session, Andrew Selley preaches on the grace and favour of God and explains the differences between the two. “Grace” refers to the undeserved and unearned love and mercy shown by God to the human race when He accepted Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross as a penalty for all our sin. Because Jesus has done it all, we cannot “earn” our salvation and are saved by grace. “Favour”, on the other hand, is the special blessing or benefits of God. Just like Jesus (Luke 2:52), we can grow in favour with God.

Are we zealous? 

In this session, Brad preaches on the zeal and passion of God, and His “Opa!” (Greek word meaning “hooray!”) over our lives. He explains that God is a jealous God who watches over and defends us. He is a God who is determined over our lives and relentless in His pursuit of our hearts. Brad refers to various things that can steal our passion for God, including comparison, criticism, discouragement, cynicism, and indifference. He encourages believers to “never be lacking in zeal, but to keep [their] spiritual fervour” (Romans 12:11).
