This week we are talking to a friend, Jessica Wright as she shares her story of her son, Kristofer Prasinos.  

Jessica's son was the victim of gun violence and to her disbelief and heartbreak she lost her boy on November 18, 2013.  Kristofer was just 16 years old.  As you will hear in the podcast, Kristofer was bright, loving and looking forward to a future as a first responder by participating in an ROP program.  

Kristofer's life was cut short and with that Jessica found herself in a very dark space, the loss of a child is something no one ever can be prepared.  It has been 7 years since his passing and Jessica has worked hard every day to find her strength and light to be happy and live every day to keep his name and his legacy present.  

Jessica has offered her story to help another parent who might listening and feeling lost and alone and to remind you that YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Everyone handles grief differently, every story is it's own but there is one thing that stands firm across the board....you can not control anything except you.
