"The only time we fail is when we quit!" Patrick Rummerfield, the World's 1st Fully Functioning Quadriplegic

Patrick Rummerfield is the World's 1st Fully Functioning Quadriplegic and the author of Green Bananas: The Patrick Rummerfield Story. Patrick's story is both moving and motivational. In 1974, Patrick Rummerfield's spine suffered four crushed cervical vertebrae. Doctors saw little chance for survival, and they predicted death within 72 hours. His indomitable will, positive attitude and spiritual strength beat the hand of death and more. Patrick is now a 47-time world record holder and more recently climbed Colorado’s Legendary Manitopour Incline unassisted which has 2,768 stairs, at a 2000 ft. elevation gain. Patrick climbed the incline in 6 hours, 1 minute, and 28 seconds as a fundraiser for Missouri Kids. As you can see, Patrick is continuing to help others by sharing his testimony from trial to triumph and finding opportunities to give back to others in his own unique way. The enemy is on assignment to kill, steal, and destroy your destiny which includes your assignment. Jesus died on Calvary for you and me and he did not come to condemn the world but to save it. I started my original YouTube channel in August 2011 and on 2/13/12 I released a video titled “Real Talk Mondays: No Editing Just Me Wk 1” and in that video I said it is never too late to start over and it’s never too late to rebuild your foundation. What didn’t happen in the last 12 years God has magnified in 5 months.

Between 4/16/2020 (new channel) and 2/13/22 I had 2,517 channel views, 49.3 hours, and 27 new subscribers. Between 4/16/2020 and 10/1/2020 I had 36,448 views, 229.8 watch hours, and 179 new subscribers. Fast forward to this morning, and the data shows that we have had 798,423 views between 4/16/20 and 3/26/23, 5.1k watch hours, and 3.3k new subscribers. What I said last week is that I wanted to pass 800,000 by the end of the month. But God, that number will be hit today. What this tells me is God can do in a matter of months what we can't do in our own strength in years.    I needed a reminder today because God is a redeemer of time and he can restore everything the enemy tried to steal from us in our broken state. Hallelujah

God loves you that much that he won't allow the enemy or whomever the enemy tries to use to "cancel you" or stop what God has predestined for you to do. That being said, we must know who we are and whose we are to walk in this type of boldness and truth. Take your power back today and repeat after me, "God loves me too much to allow anyone to cancel me." No matter how many times you are underestimated, no matter how many times you are lied on, rejected, mistreated, God can use it all for your good. I'm feeling some kind of way, because my heart is grieved on today. On January 7th Tyre Nichols, 29-years old, was pulled over due to a traffic stop and assaulted resulting in his death 3 days later. On Friday, January 27th the city of Memphis released four heart-wrenching videos. While I chose not to watch them, the mere thought of what occurred based on reading news articles and seeing photos was enough to bring me to tears and feelings of frustration and concern for where we are as a human race. All over the world there are news reports of war, murder, injustice, etc.

Where do we escape the realities of today? How do we cope? How do we persevere in faith given what we see on the news each and everyday?

I am grateful I'm not who I was yesterday and I thank God for constant growth. My hope is that you've changed for the better and that you start to see yourself as God sees you not as you've seen yourself or how others may have seen you.
