In today’s episode, Colette Dalton and I talk about everything from stepping into your truth, how to be an ally, clarifying your values, curating your feed, and so much more! We dive into finding JOY in social media and how you can show up consistently WITHOUT posting (yes, it’s possible)! Colette and I also talk about making connections, imposter syndrome, leaning into the uncomfortable, and the importance of repetition.
Colette Dalton (she/her) is an LCSW/therapist and owner of Queerful Counseling in Utah. She specializes in working with adults around issues of queerness, religious trauma, faith transitions, and sex therapy. She's the co-host of the podcast Called to Queer, which shares stories and holds space for queer Mormon women, genderqueer, and intersex individuals. She's also working to expand beyond the therapy room to help queer people who grew up Mormon find community and experience queer joy.
