Denis Ssewannyana is 24 and lives in Mizigo-Mityana Uganda, Africa. Denis has seen all of these tragedies. He is determined to make a difference in his community.
He is the Founder of the Jungwe Animal Shelter, and Founder of the Kearing Foundation Uganda located in Mizigo-Mityana, Uganda, Africa.
Denis works tirelessly trying to save the lives of the street animals and the children who desperately need him.The Jungwe Animal Shelter was started the shelter due to the massive monthly killing & poisoning of street animals by Kampala City Council Authority.
The work that Denis is doing at the Kearing Foundation Uganda is truly remarkable. The orphanage house was created to help the abandoned children, those with HIV and members of his community by providing food, shelter, water and severely needed medication.
