Colin explains how online dispute resolution systems (ODR) first came about in the late 90’s when e-commerce took off and his experiences working on disputes and building the resolution centre at eBay. With all these millions of cases increasing each year across the e-commerce industry, Colin maintains that the best way to resolve a dispute is to prevent it in the first place. He talks about his interest in resolving conflicts before they go to court and how ODR works to expand people’s access to justice.
