Graham is the Georgia Director for Faith in Public Life. The son of two seminary graduates, he grew up in Baptist churches in Indiana, Kansas and Texas. He graduated from Davidson College and the University of Georgia School of Law. Graham worked on a campaign against predatory lending, focusing on faith leaders throughout the Southeast, before beginning work as the Georgia Statewide Coordinator. He is excited to help faith leaders become moral voices that transcend party lines.

Jamie Anne Harrell, MBA, Business Intelligence Lead at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School

Jamie Harrell is the business intelligence and data analytics lead at Emory Goizueta Business School where she earned her MBA in 2016. She also earned a degree in Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech in 1996. Reporting to the Chief Analytics Officer, Jamie manages the data analytics strategy for the operations team at Goizueta Business School. She and her team designed and created the school’s data warehouse, reports, and visualizations that facilitate area leaders in making data informed decisions.

With over 20 years of experience in the computer hardware and software industry, Jamie has held VP positions in two public companies and has co-founded and sold two self-funded startups. After selling her first startup to MIVA Inc., Jamie served as the vice president and general manager of the MIVA Small Business Solutions division, a provider of e-commerce software for online retailers. Holding P&L responsibility, Jamie was responsible for the business turnaround and sale of the division to a private equity group. Subsequently, while vice president of product at Inuvo, Inc., she was responsible for the ALOT applications marketing business, where she managed $25 million in annual revenue and the search partner relationship with Google.

Jamie was the first openly transgender graduate of Goizueta Business School. She is a frequent speaker, panelist and panel moderator. Her speaking engagements cover diversity and inclusion in business, as well as technical topics on software engineering and data analytics. She has appeared at events ranging from Emory’s Out in Business panel and the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians The Patient Perspective panel, to keynote sessions at the Women Who Code WeRise conferences in 2017 and 2018, and Refactr.Tech in 2019. She was the keynote speaker at The Center for Civil and Human Rights / LGBT Institute’s Diversity in Business Forum in 2017.

In 2018 Jamie received the prestigious Atlanta Business Chronicle inaugural Diversity and Inclusion award for Outstanding Voice, and in 2019 she was named Transgender Advocate of the Year at Emory University.

Jamie is currently PTA co-president at her daughter’s elementary school, is the proud parent of two wonderful daughters, Sparrow and Anna, and lives in Atlanta, GA.

Careshia Moore – President and CEO, Usher’s New Look

Careshia Moore is an advocate and educator who has a heart for inspiring others to reach their potential. She mentors leaders, facilitates workshops, designs educational products and connects people with others and opportunities to promote personal success through education. In her roles as an Attorney, Educator and most currently, President & CEO for Usher’s New Look, she has always worked on behalf of providing access, opportunity and exposure of underserved youth.

Careshia is active in her community through membership on boards such as Communities in Schools of Henry County and United Way Advisory Board, a certified Aggression Replacement Trainer and a mentor to young girls. She is also the founder of League of Women Entrepreneurs, a networking group that seeks to empower, educate and elevate women in business. In recognition of her dedication to the community and her passion for encouraging and inspiring others, she was named as one of Southern Journal Magazine’s Top 14 under 40.

Careshia earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education and Juris Doctor degree from University of Florida. She shares her thoughts and experiences regarding education, parenting and success on her blog Compete to Succeed and is the President and Founder of Compete to Succeed Educational Resources, an entity that creates resources that promote positive parenting and student success.

Marvin Logan

Marvin Logan is a youth advocate, Hip Hop education professional, and activist. Over nearly a decade, Marvin has dedicated himself to advocating for access to education and leadership opportunities from youth all over the country. He regularly lectures on community building and bridging the gaps on how it relates to the principles of Hip Hop. Marvin’s journey began in the small city of Warren, OH. Even before he graduated high school, he participated in several student organizations, community organizing, and leadership.

Marvin has worked in education with The White House, The Department of Education, the National Campus Leadership Council, Usher Raymond IV, and many others. He served as the SGA President at Kent State, and worked 2 years with Usher’s New Look organization. He has served thousands of students in the US and around the globe. Prior to founding Food’s Future, Scott was co-founder and managing director at Verlasso Harmoniously Raised Fish. There, he led Verlasso to become the first ocean-raised salmon to receive a buy ranking from the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch program that recognizes environmentally responsible farming practices. In recognition of his efforts to communicate the value of sustainable seafood, he was named the 2015 Seafood Marketer of the Year by IntraFish.

In land-based agriculture, Scott’s experience includes product development research through commercialization for both vegetable and row crops. He is an inventor on 43 patents in a variety of plant and crop science areas.

Scott is a frequent speaker on how to address the world’s future food needs and how ever-increasing sustainability must be an integral part of agriculture’s evolution. Recent addresses include the Environmental Defense Fund, Seafood Expo North America, Seafood Summit, Fortune Brainstorm Green, the Global Ocean Action Summit, University of North Carolina, Duke University, University of Chicago and the Wharton School.

Previously, Scott was a member of the JRS Biodiversity Foundation board of directors whose extensive work on biodiversity projects in Africa and South America gave him a deep appreciation for developing comprehensive approaches to sustainable food production. Teri Anulewicz – Georgia H.B. 481 / The Impact of the Heartbeat Bill

Though abortion seems to surface as a political issue every election cycle, the potential of overturning Roe v. Wade has seemed somewhat unrealistic – until now. Recently Georgia passed state legislation, known as the Heartbeat Bill, outlining a way to defy a woman’s rights to her decisions regarding reproduction. Teri Anulewicz, Georiga House of Representatives, District 42

Teri Anulewicz was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in a special election in November 2017. She represents House District 42, which includes parts of Smyrna and Marietta, as well as areas in unincorporated Cobb County. Prior to her service in the Legislature, Teri spent a decade representing Ward 3 on the Smyrna City Council. She was first elected in 2007 and was elected to her third term in 2015. In 2016, she was appointed Mayor Pro Tem.

The firstborn in a family of six children, Teri was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was raised in New Orleans and in Houston, Texas. She moved to Georgia in 1994 and received her bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Agnes Scott College in 1998. Her professional experience includes public affairs and government relations, with an emphasis on advocacy, alliance development, coalition building, and grassroots mobilization. Teri lives with her husband, Chris, and their two children near the heart of downtown Smyrna.
