What do we proclaim to the world when there seems to be so many things to worry about?
Join Rabbi Kevin Solomon as he surveys the Scriptures for what God instructs us to proclaim to Him and to those around us. In a world that seeks answers and peace, the best we can do is proclaim God’s shalom, provision, and salvation. Not only do we proclaim boldly, but we must serve humbly. Our words must be accompanied by action that positively affects society and the lives of others. We have the most powerful message that protects the lives and spirits of everyone, let’s proclaim it!

We are living in such a troubling time. We are suffering. Our country is suffering and the question that we are faced with is how should we respond?
Rabbi Kevin Solomon answers this question by revealing that Jeremiah’s lament over the destruction of Jerusalem provides a road map for how we should respond to our current circumstance. The key is: “hashivenu” - “restore.” G-d is the one who will renew our strength if we turn to Him.

Shavuot harvesting holiday for Israel to bring first fruits, the day Moses gave the ten commandments to Israel on Mount Sinai, and the day God sent the Ruach HaKodesh (Acts 2). Rabbi Kevin Solomon begins the service by examining Ruth's story and Paul’s words in Romans 9 to explain why non-Jewish followers of Yeshua are invited to celebrate this wonderful Jewish festival. Rabbi Kevin continues by surveying specific passages from the Torah relevant to Shavuot and leads us in its observance and celebration.

This week was Yom Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Day), the day on which we remember Jerusalem returning to Jewish hands in 1967. This is the same year the Young Messianic Jewish Alliance was officially formed - it was the birth of modern Messianic Judaism. Is there theological significance to these corresponding events?
In Luke 21:24, Yeshua says, “Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” In Romans 11:25:26, Paul says, “a partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and in this way all Israel will be saved.” Is it mere coincidence, or a move of the Spirit that the same year Jerusalem returned to the Jewish people is the same year Messianic Jews made themselves known to the world? Listen to Rabbi Kevin Solomon explain this further and share how this can give us more confidence and peace in the Lord during times of uncertainty.

How does God's desire for us to live life abundantly relate to the suffering we experience? How can we experience abundant life when things are going wrong? Rabbi Kevin Solomon encourages us to not seek inner joy and contentment from your job, your freedoms, or even your family. The only anchor for abundant life that transcends this world is our trust in Yeshua. This is because Yeshua experienced and conquered abundant suffering. We can find contentment in our suffering by relying on Yeshua's love and comfort.

The New Covenant teaches that G-d will not forget His children (Luke 12:6-7, Hebrews 6:10). During this pandemic, many feel isolated; it can seem as though G-d has abandoned us. What reason do we have to believe that G-d is faithful to keep His promises? Rabbi Kevin answers the question in one word: Israel. If G-d is faithful to keep His promises to Israel, then all believers (Jew and Gentile) can trust that He will be faithful to keep His promises to us. We are not forgotten.
