Let’s step back and take a deep look at whether or not the love of God is reckless. The scriptures say that we love Him because He first loved us! If that is true, shouldn’t our love toward Him appear reckless?

Honoring your father and mother is a commandment that comes with a promise of inheritance. An inheritance to complete the mission that Adonai has for each of us. Parents deserve honor because they are the co-creators that Adonai used to bring us into the world. In honoring our parents we recognize that we are not an accident, or a mistake, but that we were perfectly designed with the right DNA to accomplish the mission that Adonai has for us.

Some people draw their morals from the customs of the culture, others draw their morals from Torah, and still others claim we only need Messiah. To preach Torah without Messiah is to diminish the love and grace of G-d, but to preach Messiah without the Torah is to remove the moral foundations of Scripture!

When we enter into a mindset of slavery, it's easy to give into temptation or defeat rather than choosing to fight. But Scripture teaches we are called to fight our battles against the world, the flesh, and the devil. If we persevere and fight using the armor of G-d then we will experience great victory.

What is the secret of imparting our faith to our children? Or for that matter, to anyone whom we disciple? We can identify some steps that will assure that the process will be successful, but ultimately it requires the power of Adonai’s Spirit and the patience of a mature believer in Messiah’s Grace!

As we begin a new secular year, it is a good thing to remind ourselves that the Holy Scriptures have stood the test of time, and they are an anchor for our lives. The old adage of “insanity is continuing the same actions and expecting different results” is not always true in the spiritual realm. If you keep practicing faith every day, Adonai will make sure that things change at some point - and they will change “suddenly.”

Moshe was a great prophet and deliverer of Israel, but he spoke of a greater prophet who would bring salvation to Israel and the world. Yeshua was a Torah observant Jew who met all the qualifications of the Messiah. He was rabbi and a prophet, and we can trust in Him as our magnificent Messiah.

Joseph had a lot of family drama and dysfunction in his life, but he was able to respond to with forgiveness because of his faith, hope, and love in Adonai. Likewise, the answer to the dysfunction in Corinth and in your life is having obedient faith in G-d’s Word, hope in the promises of Adonai that manifests in prayer and praise, and love that overflows into acts of lovingkindness.
