When a sailor’s compass isn’t calibrated correctly, even if it’s only slight off of north, the ship will go way off course and the results can be disastrous. Our soul is like a compass that can either be guided by the flesh or the Spirit, and when it strays even slightly from Yeshua toward feeding the flesh, we can shipwreck our lives. We all need a recalibration of our souls to point toward Yeshua. Yom Kippur is a time for us to accept Yeshua's recalibration of our souls and to return to being lead by the Ruach.
