- Isaiah 53, Atonement and The Death of the Righteous: Part 5 Substitutional Punishment - English and SpanishPrevious episodes showed that Isaiah 53 and the gospels support the belief that our punishment is placed upon another person, Yeshua of Nazareth. Jewish tradition also teaches that a righteous person can suffer for another person's sins. But does the rest of the Tanakh support this belief? Translated from a July 13th, 2021 recording. From the publisher's feed
Congregation of the Living Word (Kehilat Devar HaChaim) is a Messianic Jewish fellowship dedicated to honoring God and His Messiah Yeshua by studying the Word, living His Torah, and following His…
Spirit. We are disciples of Yeshua of Nazareth, the promised Messiah, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. We look forward to the return of the Messiah and the resurrection of the dead. We honor all of God’s holy written word…the Torah, the Prophets, and the writings, as well as the Gospels and the Apostolic letters.
