John chapter 14 began with Jesus telling the disciples to "not let their hearts be troubled." Now as He continues to tell them why they don't need to be troubled, He turns to the promise of prayer. We can talk to the Father "in His name." But that doesn't mean a blank cheque to ask anything we want. Let's talk about "the truth about prayer."
