The Book of Daniel - Chapter 1 and 3

Daniel tells us of (3) Jewish boys - Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego who refused to bow down the King of Babylon - King Nebuchadnezzer - and his 90' tall statue. All (3) were thrown alive into the fiery furnace, but their faith in God sustained them.

I’m a grower... AND I’m a sower.

Three things we can learn from the sower:

1. The sower spreads the seed everywhere. > Acts 1:8

2. The sower isn’t responsible for the germination of the seed.

3. The sower will see a harvest.

• Ones Along the Path = Those who heard but don’t believe

• Ones on the Rock = Those who believe but fall away

• What Fell Among Thorns = Those who hear, but are choked by life’s cares

• That in Good Soil = Those who believe, hold fast, and bear fruit
