John 19:26–27: When Jesus saw his mother standing there beside the disciple he loved, he said to her, “Dear woman, here is your son.” 27 And he said to this disciple, “Here is your mother.”

Jesus often had meals with people to help them understand who God was and to offer redemption. The table has the ability to be the most missional place in our lives.  

Luke 23:43: And Jesus replied, “I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Paul addresses the Corinthian church for drawing lines at the table.  Today we often draw lines too.  However as followers of Jesus we were meant to live differently. 

Luke 23:34: Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.”

RISE is an essential non profit in the East Windsor area.  Listen to all they do to make our community better and how we can support them in the work they do. 

As we grow in our faith our love for others should grow.  Our growth should lead to deep community centered around the table.  

Our lives are fast paced and busy.  This week we talk about our need for Sabbath.
