Philippians 1:3-6
This is the second sermon from our new series in the book of Philippians. The first sermon was lost in a recording error. The book of Philippians is probably the most quotable book in the Bible of it's size. A major theme is Joy, but not any kind of joy, not a superficial Joy, rather a Joy that is grounded in the truth of who God is. Joy is a theme but not the main thrust of the letter. Paul and the Philippians’ fellowship in the gospel, their gospel partnership, gives the theological and relational context and texture for his major themes. Therefore the series title will be Philippians: Fellowship of the Gospel.
