The board signed its Attestation Ensuring Implementation of Mitigation Efforts form from the state, saying that its efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the district meets state mandates. Superintendent Jeff Vizza said the community needs to work together to keep the schools open.
If the district has four active cases in a rolling 14-day period in one of its buildings, that building will have to close for cleaning and contact tracing. If that should happen, teachers will still report to their classrooms and students will use Google Classroom to continue schoolwork.
