This year I am a member of George Kao's Masterheart Group Program. I am honoured to be interviewed by George as a member "progress" interview. What progress? 

I have gone from be a free agent with my days to being a highly calendar driven person. 

What made me decide to pursue this experiment? 

I wasn't happy in my day to day. The idea of "Joyful Productivity" and finding joy in each moment held a lot of appeal for me. I was desperate so I tried the calendar experiment and now, not only is my business moving in new and wonderful directions, I am happier each day. Magic! Or is it? 

Another fun thing is I give a bit of my business and life backstory which I don't go into very often so I hope you enjoy this chat with me and my current biz mentor :)

When I listen to a podcast or audiobook I feel like I’m right there with the host/author. It feels really intimate. They are right there in my ear.

There is a lot of focus on video in social media and marketing in general at the moment. Tik Tok is huge, Instagram has just announced that they are no longer a photo sharing app but a video sharing one.

Some of my clients don’t feel like video is right for them. They’re just not willing to do it even though they know it’s really great for business.

Other clients deliver the transformation to their clients through their voice like through hypnosis or sound healing or light language transmission.

Today I’m shouting from the rooftops about audio. I’m super excited about audio as an option especially for people trying to reduce their reliance on social media or who find it really hard to be online all the time.

Instagram is one of those things that we wonder if we should do.

When Mel told me she wanted to chat about knowing yourself I got so excited - because it's one of those seemingly throw-away statements that has really rung true for me in my business and life.  

And I find it's helping me with my kid's weekend fights too. 

Even though we are imperfect, we can really get a lot more out of life when we know ourselves. But Mel didn't actually take the conversation there.
