Bill begins by bringing up the story of the day, that of Bruce Rauner and the inconsistencies in his stance on minimum wage. Bill suggests that the truth came out when Rauner suggested the roll back. Greg and Ray both agree, however Greg doesn't think Bruce is done, in fact he's still the front runner. Zorn suggests that Kirk Dillard has also been all over the map on minimum wage, and wants to essentially reduce it to zero. Everyone seems to agree that if Rauner isn't the number one candidate after this, Bill Brady would be.

Bill returns from the break, bringing up Chris Christie and his traffic scandal which surfaced earlier this week. Greg postulates that Christie's image is damaged, whatever the cause was. Eric says that his brand is severely affected, due to the now apparently incompetent or immoral administration. Ray suggests that this will not be as damaging to Christie as the minimum wage comments will be to Rauner. Greg disagrees. Bill brings up the crazy weather, and whether Rahm is hiding in any potholes. The panel discusses the atrocious pothole situation in Chicago. Bill also brings up the fact that Governor Quinn has failed for a 2nd time to get federal aid for Illinois tornado victims. Bill postulates that Obama won't make an exception for Illinois, due to midterm elections approaching. Bill brings up sports to Cheryl, and asks how the Bulls could trade Luol Deng to Cleveland. Cheryl says that it's affecting the team in more ways than just on the floor. Now a piece of this close-knit team is missing. Eric says he can't understand how Cleveland could essentially mortgage their future on Deng. Cheryl says it was a gamble for Cleveland, because Deng can still walk away after the season if he doesn't get a contract from them. Then the conversation turns to Greg Maddux, who was just inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame. Cheryl says there was no smarter pitcher in baseball. The team also ponders which hat he'll wear when he accepts the honor. Frank Thomas was also inducted into the HOF, and the team brings him up as well. Thirteen Blackhawks going to the Olympics on various teams -- "because they're the best team in hockey," says Stout. "A dynasty." What can we look for from the White Sox, Cubs, Bulls and Bears?
