Some of the most capable women I know have worked themselves into having the LEAST amount of capacity.
And I think a whole lot of us are believing our own BS.
We have gotten SO good at looking like we have it all together that we barely have enough energy left to create a life we actually WANT.
And the worst part? We don't even realize how much we're hiding.
Y'all, we're going there in this episode.
The secrets. The excuses. The obsession with personal development. The endless courses, podcasts, and plans that make us FEEL like we're doing something while absolutely nothing changes.
We're talking health, weight, marriage, money, business, and why some of the smartest women I know are still stuck in the same damn place.
I'm also sharing what finally changed for me, why losing 85 pounds was about SO much more than weight, and how letting somebody else lead me for a minute changed my entire life.
And I'm ending with a FAST FIVE of actual things you can DO to get unstuck.
Because at some point, you have to stop collecting information and start participating in your own transformation.
You are not incapable. You've become so consumed with APPEARING capable that you have very little capacity left to create the life you really want.
And we're going to talk about how to get it back.

One in eight women will face invasive breast cancer in her lifetime, but no two journeys look the same.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re having a conversation every woman needs to hear. Rolanda Montenegro shares how she discovered a lump that wasn’t detected on her mammogram, while Kristen opens up about her personal decision to have a preventive mastectomy.
Two very different journeys with one powerful message: Know your body, understand your risks, and NEVER stop advocating for your health.

What happens when the world gets your attention before YOU do?
In this episode of Connected, Kristen and Lenee talk about the simple morning practices that help them get grounded before the texts, kids, work, responsibilities and noise of the day take over.
We’re talking prayer and devotion, journaling, gratitude, visualization and, most importantly, taking intentional ACTION toward the woman you want to become.
And no, this is not about a perfect 90-minute morning routine with candles and a fancy journal. Some mornings you have an hour. Some mornings you have 10 minutes. Some mornings life happens.
The goal isn’t perfection. It’s intention.
Before you give your day to everybody else, give yourself a few minutes to GROUND. REFLECT. ENVISION. ACT.
Because how you start your day changes how you show up for your life.

Divorce is hard. Divorce with kids is even harder. And when addiction, manipulation, and emotional chaos are part of the story, it can leave you questioning everything.
In this episode, Kristen gets VERY real about her decision to leave her marriage with two young kids and what life looked like before, during, and after.
We talk about the red flags she ignored, why she stayed, the fear and guilt that came with leaving, protecting her kids, co-parenting, and rebuilding a life she honestly couldn’t see yet.
This isn’t about bashing an ex or telling anyone to stay or leave. It’s one woman’s story and an honest conversation for anyone who has ever felt stuck, scared, confused, or wondered, “How did I get here?”
And maybe the biggest reminder of all: sometimes the decision that feels like it’s breaking your life apart is actually the beginning of rebuilding it.

What do you do when life asks you to take a step before you know how everything is going to work out?
In this episode, Patrick and I share one of the most personal conversations we’ve ever had. We talk about leaving the security of home, moving to Florida, building our coaching business, and the faith it took for Patrick to leave his career.
But this story didn’t start with Florida.
It started years earlier through our son Charles Patrick’s Marfan syndrome diagnosis, heart surgeries, countless doctor’s appointments, and seasons that stretched us in ways we never expected.
For us, our faith in God became the anchor that carried us through the unknown. Looking back, we can see His faithfulness in ways we couldn’t while we were living it. Even if your journey or beliefs look different from ours, we hope this conversation encourages you to keep moving forward, trust the next step, and remember that growth often happens before the answers come.
If you’re facing a difficult decision, a health challenge, financial uncertainty, or standing at a crossroads, this episode is for you.
And when fear starts to creep in… remember to remember. Remember the moments that have carried you this far, the strength you’ve found along the way, and for us, the God who has never stopped walking beside us.

Your brain isn’t designed to make you happy. It’s designed to keep you familiar. Even if familiar is anxious, insecure, overwhelmed, or stuck.
In this episode, Kristen is talking about why your brain keeps pulling you back to old patterns, how neural pathways actually work, and why you have the power to change them. It’s time to Require to Rewire. Because your first thought isn’t always the truth, and you don’t have to keep living the life your brain has practiced. You can require yourself to think differently, choose differently, and ultimately BECOME differently.
