In this sermon video, we continue to celebrate Christmas and reflect on why the news of Jesus's birth is really good news. We focused this week on the personal joy we can experience from knowing the good news of the Christmas story. In Luke 1:39-55, Mary gives us a song of praise in response to the the news of Jesus. This teaches us about the work of God not only in her life, but in our lives too.

We start at Isaiah 9:2-6 where God promises the sending of His gift of Jesus who would bring counsel, strength, care, and peace with God. God's promises do not fail or miss the mark. In this sermon, we continued our teaching series through Colossians by looking at how we find freedom in Jesus from Colossians 2:16-23. Because of our sin, we were trapped by the brokenness inside us. Jesus brings a true freedom from our brokenness that is found not in our work, but in his work.
