In this sermon audio, we looked at the choice of love on our souls as we continued our "Habits of a Healthy Soul" series. Jesus tells us in Mark 12:29-31 to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Love for a follower of Jesus is rooted in both obedience and worship of God. Loving God is just as much present as a commitment and rational choice, as it is our affections. This genuine love for God will spill over into others around us. 

To have a healthy view of the past, we learned....

1) Love flows out of obedience and worship of God 

2) Love is demonstrated in every aspect of life

3) Love extends unrestrictedly to others 

Loving God and loving people is the defining characteristic of a maturing Christian.
