We can become overly legalistic with about anything. I don’t believe Jesus had keeping a surprise party, a surprise, in view, but rather one’s overall character.

Believers are to watch their own lives in light of the return of Christ.

Have you ever struggled with God’s will or plan for your life? You may be surprised to learn that God has already give us great insight into His will, as well as a great deal of freedom to live with in it. If this has been something you have struggled with, then you don’t want to miss this week’s sermon.

The warnings are not in regard to losing salvation, but forfeiting blessing and experience discipline.

A miracle is one way to experience God’s power, as is the grace to carry us through, rather than deliver us from the trial.

God doesn’t judge sin until it is committed.

What is important is knowing that God’s promises do not fail, and so we have assurance that everyone who believes will be saved.
