Through every high and every heartbreak, two things have remained constant in Katie Cook’s life: God and horses.

From a young age, Katie learned that even in the hardest seasons, God provides, and that horses are often one of the gifts He uses to carry us through life’s storms. After being forced to live in a van as a child, losing her mother tragically at just 12 years old, navigating a divorce, and later losing her partner to cancer, Katie has faced more hardship than most.

It would have been easy to question God’s goodness.

But instead, Katie chose faith.

In every painful chapter, she found glimpses of grace, focusing on how God was walking with her through the valleys and quietly aligning opportunities she never could have imagined.

"There are no horses in heaven" is all Kelly Artz needed to hear to walk away from her Catholic faith at a young age. After exploring many faiths and searching for an ideal that made sense, she came to the realization that her beliefs were always rooted in God. That conviction ultimately led her through a 3-year conversion process to Judaism.

But it was in the midst of a devastating thyroid diagnosis and overwhelming treatment plan that she met Jesus. In a moment where Kelly was ready to die, she turned to Jesus and asked him to show her if He was in fact, REAL.

"I died. But God brought me back to life." After 3 heart attacks, 2 seizures, and a stroke due to a drug overdose, Dominick Imperato lay in a hospital bed, clinically dead for minutes. But Jesus wasn't finished with his story.
