About this amazing and interesting two-part interview:
In part one of this interview, we talked about Simone’s American-Asian upbringing, her connection with nature, her favorite places in the world and her extraordinary experience with Parkour in Shanghai. In regard to the latter, one of the main insights from this time was overcoming fear and knowing one’s limits as a result of practicing this non-competitive sport. She also shares with us her views on the connection between martial arts and spirituality and highlights the importance that the body, mind and spirit has in our life and how martial arts brings together these three elements and helps to increase our intuition.
I asked her when she got interested in spirituality and how she balanced her spiritual path with her external world. She pointed out three essential aspects, those are: overcoming judgment, finding a community where you can express your spiritual truth and having trust in your connection with source. In addition, she shared some tips on how to express ourselves authentically and embody our own truth. A take away is, in order to speak our truth, we need to know what our truth is and who we really are. Contemplation and meditation are key in this process!
In part two, we spoke about her interest in ancient civilizations, sanctuaries and vortex points around the world and the positive effects when we visit them. Also, we talked about sound healing and her company Indigo Sand. At the end of the interview, we had fun asking Simone some questions to get to know her better, we call this segment “silly questions”.
Once again, we hope that her story inspires you!

About this amazing two-part interview:
In part one, we talked about Marie’s vocation, she shared with us how she started her path and what influenced and inspired her to become a life coach. In addition, we talked about two topics that arise very often during the coaching sessions, these are lack of self-confidence and lack of self-acceptance. She gave us useful tips that could help us to improve these two areas.
In this part, I also asked her about what she has learnt from her personal growth that allowed her to help others. Vulnerability, acceptance, the human side of us, suffering and being with ourselves are some of the areas we chatted about. Do not miss this part, if you also want to know in which additional areas Marie supports her clients.
In part two, she shares her life journey, especially her transformation after she came to live to Taiwan. We spoke about how hard the start of her journey was, how living with a warmhearted Taiwanese family was key during this tough time and how a solo trip was important for her to realized which things needed to change in order to live her authentic self. In this part, I also asked Marie to share with us the habits she adopted and helped her with her transformation. Some of the habits are being aware of who you are and being aware of the people you choose to spend time with, for more tips check out the interview!
Moreover, we talked about two topics that are very helpful to know more about: meditation and impermanence. After that, she shared her views on being vegan, her motivation to wake up every day and her experience with eating disorders. Do not miss out, this part is very inspiring!
In addition, I had fun asking Marie some questions that friends sent for her to answer and at the very end, I finished the interview with my last segment called “silly questions”, these are very light questions that help us to know more about Marie.
