Connection Church - Sioux Falls

Jesus is the one who knows the difficult future, who meets us in it, and will come back to rescue us through it.

What do we do with the inconsistency that we feel between who we think we are and our external reality? Go to the open arms of Jesus.

Jesus is more worthy of trust than anyone or anything. In your weariness, dont turn away but fix your gaxe upon him, consider him, and run to him with abandon.

Since we suffer and die, Jesus suffered and died, so that we would be emancipated from the fear of suffering or dying and greatly helped in our weakness.

Jesus is the redemptive paradox - the son of David and the son of God, the baby in the manger and yet redeemer and ruler of the world.

We have been invited to a feast that we do not deserve to attend, and we have been commanded by the King to invite whomever we find.

Jesus is the Son of God given to us as a cornerstone upon which we will build an abundant life.

We are called by God to repent and bear the fruit of obedience, and to do that, we desperately need Jesus as both our example and our substitute.

Jesus is the coming king to reign, because he came as the humble king to serve.

The way to be freed from the need to be an insider is to see that the greatest act in all of history was a man becoming an outsider.
