Isaiah Covington is a Performance Coach for the Boston Celtics, where he is responsible for developing Professional Athletes to increase performance while working extended hard to prevent injury. Covington, 27, also has experience as a graduate assistant/sports performance coach at Long Island University-Brooklyn, focusing primarily on the school’s men’s lacrosse and women’s field hockey teams while contributing to the men’s basketball team’s train- ing efforts. A Philadelphia native, Covington received his bachelor’s degree in move- ment science with a minor in coaching management at Delaware State University, as well as a graduate degree at LIU-Brooklyn in exercise science with a concentration in strength & conditioning and nutrition.
