We’re talking with Pastor Joe Jacowitz, the president of First Love Ministries, and the pastor of Christ Bible Church in Pleasanton, CA. Our topic is: clarifying the meaning of the word, “Gospel.”

We’ve been visiting with the delightful Miss Lillie Knauls, known for singing on the hit, “Oh Happy Day,” and the Gaither Homecoming TV programs, videos, and tours! In our concluding talk with her, she shares how to find and follow God’s will, how she keeps going, and about serving single!

As we enter a new year, we’re continuing our visit with the effervescent Lillie Knauls! She shares how a girl working at the phone company and singing in church became a member of the Gaither Homecoming friends, and a singer with the number one hit, “Oh Happy Day," singing in the most prestigious venues throughout the world!

This Christmas week, lifting our spirits and helping us celebrate, and sharing how to experience the joy of Christmas no matter what our circumstances, is Dove Award recipient Lillie Knauls! Miss Lillie, with her radiant smile and trademark hats, has been a regular singer featured on the Bill & Gloria Gaither Homecoming TV series, and shares her faith and joy here in words and songs!

“Oh Happy Day!” is a gospel song that exploded to #1 worldwide as sung by the Edwin Hawkins Singers in the 60s! Meet Lillie Knauls, one of those singers! She tells her amazing story of how she came to share her joy worldwide, and as a regular singer on the Bill & Gloria Gaither Homecoming TV program and tours! 

We’re visiting with biblical apologist Ken Ham, whose fascinating ministry “Answers in Genesis” also includes a highly acclaimed Creation Museum, and the Ark Encounter, a full-size replica of Noah’s Ark!

Our guest on our podcast is Leigh Prater. He’s an Associate Pastor at Beth-El Baptist Church in Morgan Hill, CA, and shares about his service to the Lord-as a Dad with a houseful of kids, as a pastor ministering to a congregation, and as a missionary visiting various countries throughout the world!

To help us to reflect on Thanksgiving, particularly as children of God, we’ve called on Bible teacher, Pastor Joe Jacowitz of Christ Bible Church in Pleasanton, CA, to share his thoughts with us: what is the reality of Thanksgiving now- and what does God really want?!

We conclude our talk with a person who’s been deeply scarred from her childhood. She was sexually abused by not only her father, but, as we’ll hear, in one of the most unlikely of places, where we take our children! But God is always faithful, leading us to growth and healing!
