According to Gallup’s ClifftonStrengths, those with the Connectedness strength “have faith in the links among all things. They believe there are few coincidences and that almost every event has meaning.”
I pulled Meg Rentschler (https://afocusonresults.com/) away from behind the mic of her own podcast, The STaR Coach Show (www.starcoachshow.com,) and in the spotlight for this episode. Meg talks about what happens internally and emotionally when moving away from a 20 years in psychotherapy and into a new career in coaching. She also talks about how her therapy experience shaped her unique approach to executive coach, and what it’s like to continue to coach through COVID-19.
Meg Rentschler is a Professional Certified Coach and Clinical Social Worker. At a Focus on Results Executive Coaching, Meg partners with leaders to function in a way that promotes the health and well-being of themselves, their teams and their organizations while increasing productive communication. Prior to transitioning to executive coaching over a decade ago, Meg spent over 20 years as a psychotherapist working with individuals, couples, families and groups to create positive change in her client’s relationships and lives. Her extensive experience in working with others gives her a rich perspective on human dynamics and leadership principles as well as understanding the elements of productive communication. Her expertise in assessment, behavior change, and communication styles enables her to quickly identify strategies for improving performance and resolving conflict in the workplace or in the balance of work and life.
