Wednesday afternoon can only mean one thing: The weird niche podcast you listen to is back with a fresh episode. On this week's Better Lait Than Never, I wrapped up the Dollars for Dogs campaign with a thank you to everyone who participated, looked at Connor McDavid's three-game suspension, and much more.

I kicked off this week's podcast by thanking everyone who participated in the Dollars for Dogs campaign with me this past week. Despite the absurdity of the bit, we raised over $6000 for SCARS Animal Rescue here in Edmonton, and I couldn't be happier about how things went. Now that this is over, the trick will be to get myself back on a regular diet without shocking my insides after a gruelling week of salt and dogs.

Turning the podcast back to the Oilers, I started the news with a quick recap of the Connor McDavid suspension. Given that everyone has already talked about McDavid getting three games at length, I shifted focus to the hilarious statement the Oilers made yesterday in solidarity with their captain. I don't know why the team thought they needed to put something out the way they did, but I sure had a healthy chuckle watching the internet overreact again.

Finally, I wrapped up this quick episode of BLTN with another guest Righteous Sack Beating from Dooks before wrapping up the show with another round of voicemails. The inbox was quiet again for the fourth consecutive week, but I still got a healthy chuckle from your ideas, feedback, and voicemails. As always, I sat back and laughed while listening to everything that's been on your mind over the last seven days.
