We may not realize it, but many children’s toys contain toxic materials and are contaminated with industrial chemicals. According to some studies, 67% of toys may exceed hazardous waste limits set by the Stockholm Convention.

Nasiba is the founder of The Tot, an e-commerce platform that offers advice and curated, non-toxic, eco-friendly and stylish products for conscious parents. Nasiba previously worked in digital marketing and fashion, and is the proud mother of three children. 

"Companies are still selling jewelry that is marketed to 6- and 7-year-olds, that are full of lead," says Nasiba. "People are putting a lot more pressure, and pushing companies to be more responsible about how they make decisions."
