Today my guest is Michael Duberry
He was in the top 0.001% bracket of his profession… he was a Premier League Footballer in England, with a career that lasted an amazing 20 years.....
In a Black Lives Matter related tweet, Michael Duberry spoke of "needing great leadership to steer us as black people out of this situation". He mentioned four great black male leaders: Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X, Nelson Mandela and Barack Obama,
So, in this special Black Leaders Matter, Conscious Leadership Now Podcast, Michael is going to talk about why these exemplars of great black male conscious leaders are so important to him and our society today.
Michael made 500 appearances for clubs including Chelsea, Leeds United, Stoke City, and Reading. Winning the English League Cup, European Cup Winners Cup and the European Super Cup, amongst many other personal accolades.
He was, without doubt, an elite performer...
After retiring from football, Michael obtained the qualifications needed to become a top executive coach. With his executive coaching company ‘Made Leaders’ he decided to specialize in elite performance, something he knows about first hand and separates him from other executive coaches.
You can find his website here:
https://www.madeleaders.co.uk/
He realised that his winning mentality and Premier mindset could be used to help develop others. Now Michael works with everyone from CEO’s, executive management to team leaders, helping to improve and develop individuals and teams’ performance.
