Within the reaches of our freshwater lakes, ponds, and slow-moving rivers, lives an organism that resides in the same phylum as jellyfish, sea anemones, sea pens, and rocky coral.  Join us as we discuss this little creature and some pretty magnificent attributes that put this organism in a class by itself. 

In our modern world, nearly every item we use is processed with chemicals.  What happens when these chemicals spill or leech into our environment?  Chemical clean-up is expensive.  But what if there was a natural way to clean up these spills?  Join us as we discuss bioremediation, what it is, and how it can solve this problem in particular, naturally.

The District office is busy this summer assisting farmers, inspecting dirt & gravel road projects, inspecting construction projects, and providing technical assistance wherever needed.  Each summer, we hire an intern to assist District specialists with light duties that allow the intern to experience those positions. Join us as we talk with our 2022 summer intern, Trevor Graham.
