1-15-25  Conservative Commandos: Democrat House Staffer Arrested for Allegedly Stealing 240 Government Phones!!
A former staffer for the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee was arrested last week for allegedly stealing hundreds of government-issued cellphones and selling them for personal profit, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro announced Monday.  The devices, intended for official committee use, reportedly ended up in a Maryland pawn shop, with an estimated total value of approximately $150,000.
Christopher Southerland, 43, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, served as a systems administrator for the committee from April 2020 through July 2023. In that role, he was responsible for ordering, distributing and managing mobile devices for committee staff.  
Prosecutors allege that between January and May 2023, Southerland had 240 new phones shipped directly to his home—far exceeding the roughly 80 staffers assigned to the committee at the time.
According to an indictment unsealed last week, Southerland instructed a pawn shop employee to sell the phones in parts to bypass the committee’s mobile device management software, which allows devices to be remotely secured and monitored.  The alleged scheme came to light when one of the stolen phones was sold intact on eBay.
The buyer noticed the device displayed the House Technology Service Desk phone number, prompting staff to investigate and uncover the missing devices, the Washington Examiner reports.“Stealing taxpayer-funded devices is a betrayal of public trust,” Pirro said in a statement. “These phones are intended to support the work of the House, not line someone’s pockets. Accountability matters—no one is above the law.”
Southerland faces federal charges of theft of government property. If convicted, prosecutors have indicated they will seek monetary restitution for the stolen devices.

1-15-25  Conservative Commandos: The Millionaire Tech Marxist Behind the Anti-ICE Protests
Behind the scenes, however, these demonstrations were orchestrated by organizations funded by Neville Roy Singham, a 71-year-old American millionaire living in Shanghai. Singham made his fortune in the tech industry before relocating to China and dedicating his wealth to what he calls “anti-imperialist” causes.  Joel Finkelstein, a Princeton University researcher who founded the Network Contagion Research Institute, has tracked Singham’s financial network extensively. His research indicates that Singham has funneled over $100 million into various activist organizations operating in the United States.
“If you’re showing up [at these protests] saying you’re part of some grassroots organization: no, you’re not,” Finkelstein told the Daily Mail. These same groups have been active in coordinating pro-Palestinian demonstrations following Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel, per reports.
On the day of that attack, The People’s Forum issued a statement calling for an end to “US aid to the Zionist occupation” without condemning the atrocities committed against Israeli civilians. Singham-linked groups then co-hosted an event in New York City on Oct. 8, where participants repeated pro-Hamas slogans.
The People’s Forum has now expanded its activism to include protests related to the fatal shooting of a woman by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer in Minneapolis. The organization explicitly connects this incident with Maduro’s capture by American authorities.
“From Minneapolis to Caracas, from Chicago to NYC the violence of the ruling class knows no borders… ICE raids & murders, repression, bombings, and sanctions are part of the same project: turning our lives into profit and our communities into targets. We refuse to sit idly by, now is our time to fight back!” The People’s Forum declared on social media.
Singham sold his ThoughtWorks software company in 2017 for $758 million before moving to China with his wife Jodie Evans, founder of the feminist anti-war group Code Pink. In August 2023, the New York Times published an extensive investigation into Singham’s activities, describing him as orchestrating “a global web of Chinese propaganda.”
The newspaper reported that Singham maintains office space in Shanghai alongside a company focused on educating foreigners about “the miracles that China has created on the world stage.” He has received repeated invitations to high-level events hosted by Xi Jinping’s Chinese Communist Party.

1-13-25  Conservative Commandos: Mass protests in Iran, and could the US get involved?
Anti-government protests have erupted across all 31 of Iran’s provinces in a wave of unrest that marks the biggest challenge to the regime in years. An ongoing communications shutdown, which experts say is unprecedented in its scale, was imposed by authorities on Thursday and has mostly isolated the country from the outside world amid the deadly unrest.
US President Donald Trump has threatened to attack Iran if its security forces respond with force against protesters, as rights groups report hundreds have been killed and thousands arrested.  As public anger continues to build, here’s what you need to know.
What triggered the protests?
The protests began around two weeks ago in Tehran’s bazaars over rampant inflation but have spread to more than 180 cities and towns across the country, morphing into general protests against the regime. Concerns over inflation came to a head when the prices of basic goods such as cooking oil and chicken dramatically spiked, with some products vanishing from shelves altogether.  Exacerbating the situation was a decision by the central bank to end a program allowing some importers to access cheaper US dollars compared to the rest of the market. This led shopkeepers to increase prices and some to shut their doors, sparking the demonstrations.

1-9-25  Conservative Commandos: Maduro's trusted lieutenant now work for Trump?
Many of those who tuned in to US President Donald Trump's news conference on Saturday were probably hoping to hear dramatic details of how US forces seized Venezuela's leader, Nicolás Maduro, in a pre-dawn raid.
But arguably a more surprising moment came when Trump announced that now that Maduro was in custody, the US would "run" Venezuela "until such time as we can do a safe, proper and judicious transition".
In another unexpected development, he added that Secretary of State Marco Rubio had been speaking to Maduro's Vice-President, Delcy Rodríguez, who he said was "essentially willing to do what we think is necessary to make Venezuela great again".
However, Rodríguez seemed less than co-operative in her own news conference later where she denounced Maduro's detention as a kidnapping and stressed that Venezuela would not become a colony.

1-7-25  Conservative Commandos: DOJ Launches Criminal Probe Into Walz!!  

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has opened a criminal investigation into Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) regarding his knowledge of massive welfare fraud schemes that have cost taxpayers billions of dollars, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed Monday evening. Leavitt made the announcement during an appearance on Fox News with host Jesse Watters, revealing that federal investigators are examining what Walz knew about the fraud and when he knew it.
The investigation comes on the heels of Walz’s stunning decision to abandon his reelection campaign, announced just days after independent journalist Nick Shirly’s report on widespread childcare fraud in Minnesota gained national attention.  Gov. Walz addressed the fraud allegations by acknowledging their scope, but also accused journalist Shirley and the Trump Administration of trying to “exploit” vulnerable populations in the state.
“This is a man who can no longer even win the support of the voters within his home state because his policies have failed them. And now the great people of Minnesota, a state that was once known as the land of 10,000 lakes, has been turned into the land of 10,000 Somali schemes because of their governor,” she said.  The White House press secretary emphasized that federal prosecutors have already secured numerous convictions and continue filing new charges against individuals involved in the schemes.

1-6-25  Conservative Commandos: Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz drops out of 2026 gubernatorial race!!

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz says he is dropping his reelection campaign amid increased criticism over his handling of fraud in the state. 
Walz initially announced his run for a third term as governor in September, but says he reevaluated the decision over the holidays.
"I came to the conclusion that I can't give a political campaign my all. Every minute I spend defending my own political interests would be a minute I can't spend defending the people of Minnesota against the criminals who prey on our generosity and the cynics who prey on our differences," he said. "So I've decided to step out of the race and let others worry about the election while I focus on the work."
He held a news conference after announcing he'd end his reelection bid. He took no questions, though he said he'd answer some on Tuesday while providing an update on the state's new paid family leave program.
The two-term Democrat and former vice presidential candidate has faced scrutiny in the last several months over his handling of Medicaid fraud, which has cost the state as much as $9 billion, according to a top prosecutor. Walz has stated that his administration is taking aggressive measures to prevent future fraud.

STOPPING FENTANYL FROM POISONING OUR PEOPLE: President Trump is unleashing every available tool against the cartels and foreign networks that have turned fentanyl into the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-45.
Illicit fentanyl is closer to a chemical weapon than a narcotic, claiming the lives of hundreds of thousands of Americans.

The owner of a pro-MAGA bar that sparked national outrage by offering free drinks for tips to “identify and ultimately deport” any “illegal” says he has received death threats.
“People are outright saying I should die for this and that my family should die,” Mark Fitzpatrick, the self-described “heterosexual supremacist” and owner of the Old State Saloon in Eagle, Idaho, told Fox News Digital.  On Nov. 29, Fitzpatrick’s business went viral after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reshared one of its posts on X. The post read, “Anyone who helps ICE identify and ultimately deport an illegal from Idaho gets FREE BEER FOR ONE MONTH at Old State Saloon!” The post had amassed nearly 8 million views as of Dec. 8.
  
“At Old State Saloon, we really aren’t strangers to speaking out boldly about conservative, Christian values,” Fitzpatrick told Fox, adding that he “couldn’t believe it” when the DHS amplified his post.  After the post went viral online, the MAGA-themed bar, which serves cocktails such as the Maga Rita, Trump’s Survival Shot, and Biden’s Last Fall Mudslide, received hundreds of negative reviews aimed at the business, prompting Facebook and Instagram to remove the bar’s offer.
Despite the backlash, Fitzpatrick maintained in his Fox interview that he “simply posted something that encourages people to support law enforcement, to support the efforts of our immigration.”  “Some people are praying for me and for my protection,” Fitzpatrick said in his interview, adding that he has also received “many threats to burn down the building.”
“I did think about why people get so upset with me,” the bar owner revealed, as he has received public backlash for the second time.

Even Chuck Schumer voted “Yes” for the Maritime Drug Law Enforcement Act of 1986 authorizing the military to fire on drug smuggling boats. The House approved it 392-16 and Senate approved it 97-2.
The Maritime Drug Law Enforcement Act (MDLEA), implemented in 1986 by the United States, is a piece of legislation combatting the illegal drug trade. The MDLEA establishes that it is illegal for anyone on board a vessel belonging to the United States or within their jurisdiction to deliberately produce or disseminate psychotropic substances. The Act is notable for its extraterritorial jurisdiction and its lack of nexus requirement. The Act provides that the United States jurisdiction reaches any vessel "registered in a foreign nation where the flag nation has consented or waived objection to the enforcement of the United States law by the United States."[1] In recent years the MDLEA has been met with controversy as it permits the military the authority to reach and imprison drug traffickers or stop them by any means who are operating over international waters and foreign citizens who are not located on board the watercraft but operating overseas or as a conspirator.
