For the first time in a good while Craig Ciccone rejoins us on the show. Craig has spent a good portion of his life studying the life and death of the Chicago Black Panther Party leader Fred Hampton. He also spent a lot of time pursuing the FBI records about Hampton using the Freedom of Information Act. We speak to Craig about some of the historical inaccuracies in the recent film about Hampton's life called "Judas and the Black Messiah". Craig delves into what the movie got wrong and how it often clashes with history and how the truth about Fred Hampton is way more interesting than what is depicted in the film.
