We begin our new monthly series on the History of and themes related to Conspiracy Theory. In this first chapter we examine how Conspiracy Theory has developed from a way of explaining singular events into a means of explaining existence and civilization itself. We look at the various creation myths of the Gnostics and how this has influenced modern conceptions held by Conspiracy Theorists today.
