We continue our series on generosity with a message from Luke 10:25-37. Pastor Randy Discher encourages us to care for others the way we care for ourselves.

Followers of Jesus have a unique responsibility. We are called to live with others in mind. Our world is in desperate need of believers who share their time, talent, and treasure. This kind of living has an impact on eternity. We strive to see and serve others as Jesus did.

When we first think about brokenness, we usually focus on pains that have been caused by others or on difficulties that come from circumstances outside of our control. But there is another kind of brokenness that we've all experienced. Self-inflicted wounds.  Pastor Randy Ahlberg brings our series to a close with a message about how God works in the midst of the brokenness we've brought on ourselves.

We jump into 2 Corinthians 11 to learn from Paul's experience with the brokenness of our world. In his message, Pastor Randy Discher will share about three gifts that come to those who honor Christ in the midst of their weakness.

No amount of resolutions can fix all of the circumstances you'll face in 2018. Your year will undoubtedly face some brokenness. You'll experience it in your workplace, your neighborhood, and your family. It’s inescapable! We’ll look to scripture to discover how God wants to use brokenness and broken people to bring hope and peace to the world.

The birth of Jesus is one way we know God wants us to have abundant life. Jesus himself reminds us in John 10:10 that he came so that we "may have life, and have it to the full." We'll look at the shepherd's encounter with the angels and learn from the message they received about the birth of their Savior.

It's easy to quickly read the Christmas story and miss the intensity of all that transpires. Look no further than Mary's encounter with God's messenger to realize how difficult her life would become. The news Mary is given is not easy to digest and could very well lead her down a dangerous path, yet her response is one we should all learn from and appreciate.  Pastor Sean McDowell looks at Mary's encounter.
