Dr. Constance Van Horne is Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies and an Associate Professor of Management at Abu Dhabi School of Management since September 2023. Dr. Connie holds an MBA and PhD in management from Laval University in Quebec City, Canada. In 2009 she started teaching management, communications, and strategy at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. She was the UAE country team leader for the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Report from 2011-2013, co-writing the first book on Emirati Entrepreneurship. In 2015 she also co-developed the Summer@INSEAD mini-MBA for high achieving senior high school students held each year in Paris, France. In August 2018 she began five years at Guangdong Technion Israel Institute of Technology in Shantou, China where she taught communications, writing and management. A passionate and student focused educator, Dr. Connie has won numerous awards for her teaching. In 2020 she was awarded the 2020 Teaching Reform Project from the Guangdong Provincial Government. Dr. Connie has published over 50 peer reviewed articles and conference proceedings in innovation management, entrepreneurship and collaborates with researchers across diverse disciplines and around the globe including China, France, Malaysia, the UAE and Canada.
