This time we recorded on Fryer's deck because it was too frikin hot in the pod-shed and reminisced about the Squamish Constellation Music Festival last weekend - we were very fortunate to have interviewed The Lowdown Brass Band (4:01), Old Soul Rebel (15:47), Pharis & Jason Romero (27:17), and The Hyenas (41:28) so check it out! Oh, and don't forget about Loggers Sports this weekend...
Embodying the energy & ferocity of their animal namesake, Hyaenas is a new Indie Rock band breaking into the Canadian music scene. Their music is written through a queer feminist lens - exploring themes from acceptance to vigilance; celebrating nature, self-worth, and social justice. Their sound draws inspiration from 80’s icons The Go-Go’s to modern day Indie darlings Warpaint, and synth-pop power quartet Metric.
