Raw and Uncut. The story of my financial journey. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Taking you from the early lessons from my mom on budgeting and saving to financial security that allowed me to start my company...as a single person. By managing my money and advocating for myself, I have been able to secure my financial stability and begin phase one of my retirement! However, challenges such as unfair pay gaps have also shaped my path, leading me to advocate for transparency and financial empowerment in the workplace. This episode is meant to encourage you to learn your worth, advocate for yourself and others, plan for retirement early, and work toward a financial freedom that truly allows YOU to hold the cards in your career.

What is it like to be the FATHER of a DAUGHTER in male dominated industry? In this episode, we dive into the unique perspective of TJ Pinales. TJ is not only a long time Construction Professional, but he IS the father of a daughter in a male dominated industry...the armed forces, the ARMY to be exact.
TJ and I dive into challenges his daughter has faced in HER CAREER and how KNOWLEDGE of those has impacted him and his own perspective on support and advocacy for Women in Construction.
The stories he shares, with her permission of course, are important examples of standing up for oneself and advocating for change. Through his daughter's experiences, and his own, TJ continues to be a committed advocate for equality in all male dominated fields.

What can you do to increase your chances of landing the interview or the hire?
For both candidates and companies, creating a more equitable hiring process requires effort and commitment. In this interview with HR expert, Nora Burns, (aka The Undercover Candidate) we dive into the importance of women exuding confidence and competence, starting with something as simple as a firm handshake. We discuss how women can combat bias by making eye contact, speaking confidently, and we provide specific examples to help showcase our skills during interviews.
Remember, it's essential to be true to yourself, prioritize comfort and confidence in your attire, and thoroughly research the organization before a job interview. By doing so, you can show up as your best self and make a lasting impression.
